My Aunt Terri and Uncle Al are on a cruise with my mom and dad. Dad sent an e-mail yesterday saying that my uncle isn't doing well, and to call his kids and my Aunt Bobbie and have her pray. The ship's phone are down, but they'd have captian radio one of my cousins if things got worse.

After that, all I've found out is that the doctor says he can't fly. And may dad will let us know when they know something. I've been checking my e-mail multiple times an hour hoping to hear some news, preferably good.

If anyone has some extra prayers or good thoughts, if you could send them my uncle's way, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

From our family website:

***** LOST AT SEA ***** Our adventure continues - they were unable to repair the engine and we are sailing along at a maximum speed of 16 knots. We are going so slow that we will be unable to visit Half Moon Cay - we are proceeding directly to St. Thomas. A team from Holland America is flying in there to attempt to make engine repairs. It appears that we will be in St. Thomas until the repairs are complete - how long we don't know. This is truly an excellent adventure - the weather was perfect today and we're having a great time. Losing an engine on a boat is much better than losing one on an airplane. Stay tuned for more of this continuing saga...
Let's hope they get back under sail soon.

A Thanksgiving filled with firsts. First Thanksgiving in the new house. First time we've hosted Thanksgiving. First time using our new dining room table. First time using our good china and silverware.

Happy Thanksgiving!

for submissions for the Stracensky Family Calendar. If you haven't mailed 'em out yet, gotta do it today. The goal is to actually get the calendar out on time so if I don't have it next week, it's not getting in.
