Earlier this month I had yet another birthday. Yup, that must mean I'm older. A few friends were able to join me to celebrate the day before at Lebanese Taverna. Chris got me one of the lenses I had sitting on my wish list (there are a few). It's a macro lens. I've been having fun playing with close up shots.
I also changed jobs this month. I know you're thinking "again?" I didn't go far this time. I'm now working for the development team that I've been supporting since I joined AOL back in October. My boss changed, the location of my desk changed, but other than that I'm still working with most of the same people and doing basically the same thing (fixing bugs for now). Does this make me wiser? Probably not. But I am fortunate to be working with some very talented and very smart people. One can always hope some of that smartness might rub off on me.
Now what about this more mature? Yeah, that ain't happening.
And for the other random updates: Cisco's first trial of the year resulted in on Q. We'll be doing a few more in June and July. Hopefully we can get some more Q's and maybe a title or two this year.
... Cisco decided to unwrap the rest of the quarters.
I left this morning to get my hair cut. I figured Cisco would go back up stairs to bed with Chris so I didn't worry about the new routine of closing all the doors and making sure there is no paper anywhere.
Cisco ate the paper off $140. I guess that's better than him eating $140.
In other news... we got a new mattress! It was time. We needed one. The old one had been bothering my back.
I start my new job on Monday. I'm so excited. A little nervous, but mostly excited. I can't believe I'm finally done with the last place! I walked out of there yesterday with the biggest grin on my face.
I finally brought in pictures of the boys to work. It makes me smile everytime I glance over and see their pictures. Now to bring in a picture of the husband...

It's been a while since I've updated this. Lets see... My hair is now brown. I hadn't been happy with my last couple sets of highlights so I really didn't want to pay to have them touched up and my roots were coming in dark, so I went dark -- maybe I can get away from coloring my hair. probably not.
Last weekend Cisco qualified in Starters Pairs and Jumpers at the TAG trial in Sterling.
The first week at the new job was overwhelming. I started off the week in tears and ready to quit, but now it might be ok. I'm going to give it a chance. We'll have to wait and see how it goes.
Starting work on the family calendar this weekend. Thanks to everyone who sent in submissions.
